EyeTap
A type of
WearComp /
WearCam that captures the light that would
normally enter one or both of the user's eyes (usually by reflecting it
into a camera with a mirror mounted in front of the eye), transforms it
into data, processes this light-data in some way with a computer worn on
the body (e.g. for
Mediated Reality), then projects
it back onto the user's eye with an
aremac.
Thus, an EyeTap is a device that allows the eye to,
in effect, function as both a camera and a display.
